Creating a Client-Attracting Professional Web Site
Robert Middleton with Bill Metcalf

Thank you for ordering this Multi-Media Program!

Please Bookmark this in your Web Browser Now - You'll be returning to this page frequently.

This Web Site Toolkit is divided into sections that correspond to each section of your web site. Included in each section is an audio portion that you can listen to online, a written portion as a pdf and samples of web sites as links. In addition, there are links to resources such as editors, writers, web designers and useful web and Internet tools.

How to Use The Web Site Toolkit

This program has everything you need to create the content for a high-quality, high impact web site. It also includes resources for designing and developing your site. The big key is content. If you have good content for your site, if you give your prospects the information they're looking for, everything else is relatively easy.

Most web sites have inadequate content, the wrong content, content in the wrong place, poor navigation and bad formatting of the content. It's no wonder that most web sites get such poor results. If you follow these guidelines carefully, you'll come out with an excellent site that will help you attract more clients.

Here are the four steps to take in creating a powerful web site:

1. Study the audio and written material. First listen to the audio for each section. Just click on the link next to Audio in each section. Then open the PDF and read the detailed instructions and action plan for each section. I recommend you listen to and read each section at least twice. Finally, look at all of the samples of actual web sites that follow my model of web content.

2. Next, start writing the actual content for your site, one section at a time. I've put the steps in the order shown because I've found it's the most logical way to go. We actually work on the home page at the end, not the beginning as it is really a summation of everything you'll have done up to this point. If you need assistance in writing or editing your site content, there are several editors listed at the bottom of this page who can help you.

3. Once you have all your sections written and formatted, it's time to start the design process. Section 10 includes detailed guidelines for design, formatting and navigation. You may have an existing designer, want to do it yourself or need to find a designer. I have listed several designers at the bottom of the page with links to their sites and portfolios. They are all experienced in working with Independent Professionals like you. I've also included links to template sites if you want to do your own design.

4. Use the Online Services and Tools at the bottom of this page as you need them. From web templates and email list managers, to web stats and online payment systems, you'll find what you need to create a powerful web site - with very little technical knowledge required.

I hope you find this program useful. I have worked with hundreds of Independent Professionals in developing the content for their sites using exactly this process. I won't be there personally to help you, but if you listen, read and study, you will have everything you need to create a great, client-attracting web site.

All the best,

Robert Middleton

The Website ToolKit

To listen to the audio, just click on MP3 or Real Audio buttons, a window will open up and start playing. You can listen in either format. To read the pdf files, just click on the pdf icons they will open up in Adobe Acrobat. To view the sample sites, just click on the link and you'll be taken to the specific page with the sample.

My recommendation is to listen to the audio program first or read the transcription (or both), then read the guidelines for each web page section in the pdf and then go to the sample pages. This will give you everything you need to create a high-quality professional service business web site.

Note on downloading MP3 files:

On a PC: "Right mouse click" on the red MP3 icon. In the menu, click "Save Target As...". This will bring up a menu for your desktop that allows you to save the file to your desktop or any folder that you like. Once you've downloaded the file, go to the folder where you saved it and double click the file to play it.

On a Mac: Click on the MP3 icon and hold your mouse down. In the menu, select "Download Link to Disk." This will bring up a menu for your desktop that allows you to save the file to your desktop or any folder that you like. Once you've downloaded the file, go to the folder where you saved it and double click the file to play it.

Bad Links?

In the Web Site ToolKit are several links to sample web sites. It's not unusual for links to go bad and we might miss some of them. So if you find a bad link, please let me know. Same goes for the audio and pdf files. If you have troubles with any of them, just let me know here: Contact Robert
